Come out to White Flag on Wednesday or Saturday evenings @ 7 PM for our film series to accompany the current exhibition: Every Man For Himself/God Against All.  Tonight there is even a double-feature.  Free beer and some stale popcorn, what's not to like!

Thanks to everyone that came out to WFP and CAMSTL to show Silverio and his crew a good time.  Such a good time that they missed their flight... nothing beats dancing at the Upstairs on hip-hop night.

The current show features artist Linnea Spransy, a graduate from Yale and a super-nice Kansas City neighbor.  Her large-scale drawings and paintings are incredible to witness in person, but that is not what this blog is about.  This blog is about the wonder that is the Linnea's showcard.  A showcard unlike any other, it's printed on vellum.  This translucent beauty looks like it's from another galaxy.  Stop by for a show card of your very own and check out this show before it blasts off to the other world from which it came.

Last night @ the Contemporary, White Flag was proud to serve as the first guest exhibition in the new project space.  To show our appreciation, slaps were given out free of charge to any welcoming victim.  This performance will continue for the next two weeks.  Don't fret, if you missed the opening there's still time for a little masochistic fun.  Stop by the Contemporary for your very own slap in the face and take part in contmeporay art.  Yeah. 

For a mere $35, one may puchase a ticket to the WFP Juan Chavez New Year's Eve Communist Party.  Included is an open bar along with bundles of commie fun.  So fork over the cash and join in the festivities.  This event sold out last year, so don't delay. Tickets are available at the gallery on Wednesday or Saturday with cash or check or through paypal @ whiteflagprojects.org.

New Year's Eve prep is well under way to prepare for the New Year's Eve Communist Party curated by Juan Chavez. Construction on soviet missiles is nearing completion and the building of the Berlin Wall will soon begin. Tickets are $35 with an open bar, so what's not to like.

After 5PM today, install will begin on the next show, The Great Escape: New Art From London.  Consequently, the gallery will NOT be open Wednesday, Nov. 14 or during the afternoon on Saturday, Nov. 17.  The opening reception will be next Saturday evening, Nov. 17, from 7-10PM.  Also opening is Seann Brackin: Time Space Travel Device Made For The Unification of Humanity, in the library.
